Together we are moving through a period of great transition and transformation. In every aspect of living we are being asked to choose what means most to us and to find the grace which allows gratitude and compassion to shape our reality.

Our journey together at The Green Bough in Irwin has been a blessing for which we are very grateful. Since we opened our doors in early 2005, our goal has been to share meaningful experiences with each and every person who participates in our programs. We know that these past four years have been deeply significant for us.

Yesterday, November 13, 2008 was a day of great significance for humanity according to the Mayan Tradition. The Sixth Day represents a breakthrough moment, affecting the year ahead, which takes us from destruction and fear to rebirth and optimism.
(Yes, we can!)

For The Green Bough, it is an opportunity to share with you some changes that need to happen as part of our own rebirthing. The recent economic shifts have forced us to re-evaluate the sustainability of our Irwin location and require us to explore new options in order to continue to serve.

We will be closing the Irwin location by the end of December. All scheduled classes and events will continue to take place, as announced, between now and then.

We are exploring “cooperative” models and locations convenient to both the Irwin and Monroeville areas. Our vision is for a new holistic center with a blend of offerings and a family of practitioners to support you in your life’s work.

To the wonderful group of inspired teachers who have been with us, we must offer our deepest gratitude. Each in their own way has contributed so much to nurturing and uplifting the Green Bough community. We trust that they will continue to share their gifts and that all of us will continue to develop lives of deep personal exploration and social relevance.
